For most of its history, Padworth College was owned by Padworth College Trust Ltd. Following the change of ownership in 2018, when Padworth College joined the IFE group of schools, Padworth College Trust Ltd was renamed Padworth Education Trust Ltd. The Trust maintains an active relationship with the College, with the 5 Trustees meeting with the Senior Leadership Team at Padworth on a quarterly basis.

Importantly, the Trust also provides bursary assistance to families of students wishing to join the College, but who may not be able to afford the fees. The Trust also supports the College in other areas.
For example, the college has recently donated some used microscopes to the Wakiso Secondary School for the Deaf in Uganda. This initiative was organised by Project Le Monde and was made possible due to the generous support of Padworth Education Trust.
